A few red flags for spotting "signal sellers" on SquareLately while browsing Square, I've noticed quite a few accounts posting a dozen times a day like "Trust me - Open big long/short now - Big profit coming soon ❤️", complete with SL/TP and huge PnL screenshots. At first I was curious too, but after digging in for a while, I found some pretty clear patterns. Sharing this so everyone can be more careful when following any signal (not calling out anyone specific — this is a fairly common model). 🔍 Things worth noticing: Wins shown in USDT amounts, losses shown only in % Winning trades usually come with a huge absolute number (thousands of USDT). Losing trades only show a percentage, with no USDT figure attached. It's quite possible winning trades are opened with large capital to make the number look impressive, while losing trades are opened with small capital so the % looks dramatic but doesn't actually hurt much — and the real dollar amount gets conveniently left out.SL placed way out at the top/bottom, TP placed very far away Sounds "technical," but with high-volatility coins this is actually a trick to create breathing room while waiting for a bounce. As soon as the price recovers even slightly into the green (nowhere near TP), they close early and screenshot it right away. The far-away TP mostly exists to justify the far-away SL — they rarely actually wait for TP to hit.Favoring high-volatility coins, avoiding BTC/ETH/SOL Small, low-liquidity coins (tokenized stocks, small caps) can swing 10–40% in just a few hours — perfect for producing eye-catching screenshots on a regular basis. BTC/ETH/SOL move much slower, so with a TP set that far out, it could take days to play out — not enough "material" to post content that often.Formulaic content, unusual posting frequency Nearly every post follows the same template: coin + Long/Short + SL + TP + a "Thank me later" line. Dozens of posts a day, thousands over a few years — hard to believe one person is manually doing technical analysis for every single trade at that pace.Always ends with a pitch to "Join Premium Signal" This is the real end goal: use a handful of cherry-picked results to build trust, then funnel people toward a paid group. ⚠️ Why smaller accounts tend to get hurt more: Traders with larger capital can flexibly close early or move SL to breakeven once in profit. Smaller accounts following the publicly posted SL/TP usually have to hold the position longer and take on more risk, since they don't have the same "early exit privilege" the poster does. 📌 A few quick tips to protect yourself: – Don't trust a single PnL screenshot — there's nothing verifying its source or whether it reflects a consistent track record. – Compare how wins vs. losses are presented — if wins are detailed and losses are vague, that's a red flag. – Learn to read charts yourself and take responsibility for your own trades — don't let FOMO from "huge profit" screenshots drive your decisions. – Nobody hands out easy money-making secrets for free — if a signal were truly that good, they wouldn't need to keep pitching it. Just sharing a personal perspective, not targeting anyone specific — stay sharp and always DYOR before putting money behind any signal 🙏 #RiskManagement #ScamAlert #DYOR

🚨 $USDT P2P SCAM EXPOSED — THE "PAID" BUTTON LIES TO YOU! 🛡️ 📊 The buyer clicks "Paid." Your bank still reads zero. That gap between what they report and what your balance proves is where bad actors plant the trap. A fake receipt with the right name, amount, and bank logo costs them nothing to fabricate — but it can cost you your entire bag if you hit Release on their word. ⚡ Pressure is their weapon: "Please release quickly," "Check the screenshot," "My bank is slow." All that urgency exists to get your finger on the Release button before your banking app even loads. Paid is what they control. Received is what only your bank can prove. Run the 3-step check every single time: open your app, verify the balance, match sender and amount to the exact Order ID. Anything unclear — Appeal, don't Release. 💭 Have you ever felt that push to release before confirming your balance? 👇 ⚠️ Not financial advice. 🦈 YOUR EAGERNESS IS THE SCAMMER'S EDGE — ALWAYS PAUSE BEFORE RELEASING $USDT 🛡️ In the ring, the best defense is a slow trigger finger. I nearly let a mid-size bag walk because the other side kept pushing 'just release it, check after.' The pressure felt real. But the bank app showed nothing. That 3-second pause was worth more than any 100x setup I've ever spotted. 📊 Dispute timelines can stretch to 10 days. That's not a delay—it's a holding penalty. You lose the coin, and you lose the peace of mind while trapped in a ticket queue. The market's fake outs and sweeps are one noise. This is the noise that actually bleeds you. ⏳ The rule is simple: large amount = slow motion. The scammer's best weapon is your built-in impatience. Take that weapon away, and they're just standing there waiting for a miracle. 💡 Have you ever caught yourself clicking 'release' before the fiat hit your screen? 👇 ⚠️ Not financial advice. Everyone thinks stablecoins are the “safe” part of crypto, but actually the biggest risk might be the fake wallet/app layer sitting between you and your $USDT. ngl, a lot of traders don’t get drained because they bought the wrong coin. they get cooked because they clicked the wrong app, trusted an impersonator, or signed something that looked normal while chasing a quick move in $USDC or $BNB. case study from Block Intelligence’s Jetso Analin: the scam stack is getting way more polished. fake wallet apps, phishing flows, impersonation, and AI-generated deepfakes are now being used together, which makes the fraud harder to spot than the old “send me funds” scams. the scary part is how normal it looks. a fake support account can sound legit, a deepfake can copy a real person, and a wallet clone can make your balance look fine until permissions are abused. this is where most people drop their guard, especially when moving stablecoins fast. offline UPI adds another layer too. India is pushing payments that can work when devices are disconnected, but the hard problem is preventing double-spending without live network checks. same lesson for crypto ser: convenience is great, but trust assumptions matter. $USDT P2P SCAM: ONE MISSING ZERO TURNED 260M VND INTO 26M 🚨 A Vietnamese trader just exposed the sneakiest P2P trick on the board. They listed 260M VND in USDT, and the merchant "paid" — but the notification lied. Only 26M VND landed in the account. One missing zero. The bank app flashed "money received", yet the balance told a different story. 🔍 The rule is cold and simple: Payment notification ≠ full payment. Before you ever hit Release, open your banking app and confirm three things — the exact amount matches the order, the sender's name matches the counterparty, and the transaction is truly settled. If anything looks off, freeze the release. 🛡️ Scammers bet on speed and blind trust. P2P TRADERS: THE ZALO REFUND TRICK THAT STEALS YOUR $USDT 🚨 Scammers are weaponizing "trust" inside peer-to-peer trades right now. A merchant asks you to move chat to Zalo, then says "cancel the order — I'll refund you after." 🚨 That's a classic liquidity grab for your coins, not a courtesy. On a top-tier exchange P2P, every message and order ID inside the platform chat is your evidence shield. ✅ If you switch to Zalo or Telegram and press cancel before funds hit your wallet, you lose proof. If the seller insists on canceling without a confirmed refund, open an Appeal immediately — support will check on-platform records. Stay inside the order chat, screenshot everything, and treat any out-of-process request as a red flag. 💬 Have you ever seen this "cancel and refund later" script in P2P? 👇 ⚠️ Not financial advice.
