There are very few coins that get listed on both the spot and futures rankings at the same time, and Iโm not as excited as I probably should beโ
$FORM is exactly like that.
On my way home on the subway after work, I happened to scroll past it. Spot was only $0.201, and in the last 24 hours it was up 9.7%. The high even touched $0.2046โpretty close to the top.
This kind of position is the easiest to make people itchy, like itโs telling you, โJust look once more and itโs going to fly.โ ๐
But I watched for a while, and what felt strange was the structure.
Spot 24h volume was only $1.22M, while the futures side had $2.68Mโabout 2.2x.
That suggests that whatever put it onto todayโs rankings isnโt just people slowly buying spot; more of it is futures capital amplifying the emotions.
The funding rate is only +0.0050%, nothing outrageous to look at.
That makes it even more subtle. It doesnโt feel like everyone is already overheated and out of control; it feels more like many people are testing the waters, trying to squeeze inโstill not at a strongly unified level.
Open interest is 27.86 million FORM. Seeing that number there makes me pay attention.
Because the price has already moved from $0.179 to around here, but the positions are still piled up. After that, if someone starts letting go, the volatility will be really grinding.
My trader friend always says the most exhausting trades arenโt the ones that are obviously overheated at a glance, but this kindโโnot crazy yet, but already starting to get hot.โ
$FORM feels exactly like this stage to me.
So for my part, Iโm not bearishโIโm more in a wait-and-see mode.
If it made it into the rankings, it feels more like momentum and leverage are pushing the heat up together, not like one of those particularly solid and steady moves.
If youโre already on the train, I think you can keep an eye on whether it keeps failing to break through near the highs.
If you havenโt gotten in yet, Iโd rather not chase itโwait until it shakes out the emotions first. Iโm really tired of stuff like taking a shower and coming out to find your position has changed ๐ญ
The market turns on you faster than turning a pageโkeep a bit of your position.
