#bstockscis Two order books, same exchange, same minute. The gap between them is about 90x.
Ten new bStocks went live on 5 August at 12:00 UTC,
$NFLXB among them. So today I opened it next to
$NVDAB , a pair that's been trading since June. Both screenshots below, taken at 13:34 and 13:35 UTC — minutes after the US open, not some quiet hour of the night.
NVDAB: best ask 223.31, best bid 223.30. A one-cent spread. Roughly 0.004%.
NFLXB: best ask 74.85, best bid 74.54. A 0.31 spread. About 0.42%.
Depth tells the same story. Behind NVDAB's best ask sat 0.980 tokens — around $219. Behind NFLXB's, 0.67 tokens — about $50. Anything bigger than a coffee budget walks straight up to the next price level.
Neither book is broken. One is two months old, one is one day old, and this is exactly what that difference looks like.
The practical read: on a fresh listing, the spread will cost you more than the fee ever will. That's what limit orders are for. And with zero maker fees running to 31 August, placing one costs nothing while the book fills in.
New listing does not mean ready to market-buy.

@BinanceCIS How long do you wait before trading a brand-new listing?
A — Day one, spread doesn't scare me
B — A few days for the book to fill
C — Only after volume looks stable
D — I skip new listings entirely
