$BNB When I wrote my first posts about bStocks back in the summer, I had no idea how quickly the scale of this topic would change. Back then, it looked like a niche product from a single exchange.
The numbers are different now. The entire tokenized stocks and ETFs market had grown to $3.8 billion as of October 6 — in January, it was just $719 million, five times smaller. The largest share, 30% ($1.1 billion), belongs to BNB Chain — the network where bStocks operate.
For comparison: in January, Ethereum was the leader with a 48% share; now it’s down to 22%. In nine months, the balance of power in the sector has completely shifted, and BNB Chain has become the first network to cross the $1 billion mark in this segment.
Here’s a detail I hadn’t seen before: there are now 1.8 million addresses holding tokenized stocks on BNB Chain — 45% of all such addresses across all networks combined. Even on weekends, when traditional exchanges are closed, global trading volume exceeds $1 billion — the same thing I wrote about in my posts on bStocks and Wall Street’s “night shift,” only now it’s become systemic behavior across the sector.
What looked like an experiment by a single exchange a few months ago has turned into a distinct infrastructure category.
