⚠️ Not everything that shines is gold: My experience with an "event" by an individual in Binance Square ⚠️ Sometimes we trust people we consider friends or colleagues within the ecosystem, but their actions end up revealing their true intentions. Today, I want to share a recent bad experience as a warning so it doesn’t happen to others. A few days ago, an acquaintance organized a contest in Binance Square. The rules were simple and straightforward: the comment with the most "Likes" on his profile would win. A friend tipped me off, and I decided to participate with all the good vibes, and thanks to the support of many of you, I managed to secure the top spot. However, this is where the lack of transparency kicked in. Seeing that I was winning, the organizer started inciting other contestants in his chat room to support another candidate. Meaningless excuses: His argument for pushing me out was that I "had an advantage" just for being verified (the yellow check). If verification was a hurdle, why wasn't it established in the rules from day one? The irony is that when he needs support to spread and share his own content, the verification of others has never been an issue. In the end, it became evident that the contest was not transparent: either a winner was pre-selected, or they simply didn’t have the funds to fulfill the prize. On a personal level, the prize is the least of my concerns (thank God I can buy that and more on my own). What truly angers me is the deception and cheating. It pains me to think that if someone else in my position had really needed that incentive and had worked hard to win, they would have been scammed just as blatantly. Moral of the story: Community, don’t believe everything you see. In this digital world, not everything that shines is gold. Value your work, your content, and don’t give away your effort to setups that don’t play fair. WE HAVE PART II ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ #Estafa #BinanceSquare #Trampa
