The Standard Reserve, which claims to be an “on-chain central bank,” has published the Genesis Charters minting arrangements. Mark the timing first:
The whitelist window is 5:30–10:30 (Beijing time) on September 15, corresponding to 17:30–20:30 (Eastern Time) on September 14, with a fee of 0.15 ETH. After it ends, the remaining allocation enters a 30-minute Dutch auction, gradually decreasing from 1.25 ETH down to 0.15 ETH.
The official claims that 100% of the minting proceeds go into the initial liquidity and the protocol treasury, and the team does not take a share. Then STANDARD trading is opened; the first hour includes an anti-sniping tax, starting at 90% with exponential decay. Most of it is completed within the first 5 minutes; after 1 hour, it returns to normal fees.
At the same time trading opens, Charter emissions begin, and using STANDARD paid via a Dutch auction method, 100 branch license plates are auctioned off.
Both the high tax rate and the auction mechanism mean opening-day volatility could be significant. If you plan to participate, be sure to check the official links, estimate Gas fees and the order price in advance, and don’t blindly chase orders when emotions are at their hottest.
