I recently came across a pretty interesting NFT project, @torpornet
4,444 frogs, built around the idea of doing absolutely nothing
The project’s concept is unique: Built to sit. Born to croak.

A total supply of 4,444, all hand-drawn
Each frog is one of a kind, with combinations of backgrounds, outfits, faces, headwear, glasses, and more
The overall aesthetic is dark, minimalist, and quiet

Mint network: Elysium (Kinetiq’s new L2)
Mint date: November 9, the day Elysium mainnet launches
Gas is paid in HYPE, so costs are very low
The allowlist is still open. Entries are reviewed manually, so it’s not first come, first served. Around 619 people have been approved so far

The project is auctioning off its 3 rarest frogs, ranked 1, 2, and 3. Bids are placed in HYPE, and the winners will receive frogs #0, #1, and #2

They also plan to launch an official website later (link in the original post), with the goal of building an intelligent layer dedicated to serving NFT collections

What I find interesting about this project isn’t how complicated the mechanics are, but how cohesive its aesthetic and storytelling feel
