Something interesting happens in Bitcoin: a computer can exchange information with a worldwide network without having to connect individually to all its participants.
How is this possible?
Because nodes establish connections with other nodes, and those connections allow information to travel along different paths.
To understand how this mechanism works, we need to know a fundamental concept: PEERS.
The word peer means equal. In Bitcoin, a peer is another node with which a network connection is maintained.
