I have a theory about crypto. Your experience in this market often depends on your own position, liquidity, and decisions.

For the last five years, I’ve been observing different altcoins and, of course, the OLD MAN — Bitcoin. 🟠

Yes, I have a favourite altcoin. And believe it or not, I’ve never sold it. Instead, I’ve gradually increased my position. I’m not here to become the next Elon Musk or Bill Gates. I want to understand whether crypto can offer alternatives to the traditional financial system.
But something interesting caught my attention. 👇

Whenever I had sufficient stablecoin liquidity, my favourite altcoin often seemed expensive. But when I lost liquidity through trading, I noticed my favourite coin getting crushed.
Was it just coincidence, market timing, or a lesson about liquidity?

Here are a few possibilities behind my observation:

I am not claiming that the market deliberately moves against me. My experience could also reflect confirmation bias - we tend to remember the price movements that hurt us the most.
But one lesson is becoming clearer to me: being right about a project's potential and managing your liquidity are two completely different skills.

I want to see whether crypto can build meaningful alternatives to the traditional financial system. Until then, I will keep observing, learning, and questioning my own assumptions.
