🔐 CNIC Safety in P2P Trading
– Protect Yourself During KYC
If you are trading on Binance P2P, especially posting content on Binance Square, this is Day 2 of our awareness series — and today we talk about something VERY serious:
⚠️ Never Send Your CNIC Clearly to a Merchant
Many new traders think:
“Merchant ne KYC ke liye CNIC manga hai, toh clear photo bhej deta hoon.”
❌ That is risky.
Your CNIC is your identity.
If you send it clearly without protection, a dishonest person can:
Use it for fake accounts
Do illegal transactions
Open bank or crypto accounts
Involve you in fraud cases
Misuse it for SIM registration
And later… you suffer the consequences.
✅ What Should You Do Instead?
Whenever you send your CNIC to any merchant for verification:
✍️ 1. Add a Cross (X) on the Image
Draw a clear cross line across the CNIC.
📝 2. Write Purpose on It
Write something like:
“Only for bank transfer KYC – Date: 20/02/2026”
This makes it useless for other illegal purposes.
📅 3. Always Add Date
This prevents reuse in future.
