The AI image generation platform Ideogram has announced the launch of its first open-weight foundational model, Ideogram 4.0. This model packs 9.3 billion parameters and features a single-stream Diffusion Transformer architecture, innovatively selecting Qwen3-VL-8B-Instruct as its text encoder, achieving excellent text comprehension and spatial alignment. The model is currently available in open-source nf4 version (can run on a single 24GB GPU) and fp8 version, with inference code licensed under Apache 2.0.
