If negative news comes in and the market doesn’t drop hard, it can mean sellers are losing control.

🔴 **$81.5K–$82K:** key resistance
🟡 **$80K:** psychological level
🟠 **$78K:** nearby support
🔵 **$75K:** important reaction zone

I don’t need to guess whether BTC will go up or down.

I want to see **breakout + volume + confirmation**.

🚨 **Bitcoin hit $85K… but there’s one piece of information I care about more than the price.**

In the last 24h, around **$648M in SHORT positions** were liquidated.

At the same time, **Open Interest increased**.

What does that mean?

Many sellers were pushed out… but new leveraged traders are entering the move.

And here’s the danger:

A move like this can keep going, but it can also become very violent if too many traders start chasing the candle.

If you don't understand funding, you might be paying for an operation without realizing it.

Funding is a periodic payment between perpetual futures traders.

If it’s positive, normally LONGs pay SHORTs.
If it’s negative, normally SHORTs pay LONGs.

Today in BTC: 0.0051%.

The important thing isn’t to look at it in isolation. Combine it with price and Open Interest.

Example:
📈 Price goes up + OI goes up + funding spikes → you may be getting into too much LONG leverage.

That doesn’t predict a drop. It only tells you that the risk of a liquidation increases.
