#FedHikesBTCResilience $BTC should remain while expectations for further interest rate hikes rise; it is probably the most interesting market tension of this week 🧩
After the Fed resumed tightening in September, it was reported that the CME valuation placed the chance of another hike in October at around 70%. Philadelphia Fed President Paulson also said that inflation has not improved enough and that another increase could be necessary.
Normally, that backdrop would create clear pressure on risk assets. However, BTC continued trading above $87,000 before pulling back, while U.S. spot BTC ETFs recorded approximately $999 million in net inflows on September 21—the strongest daily total in 2026. Corporate buyers like Strategy also kept adding BTC.
