Today's crypto topic:
A decline isn't the end. It's the foundation of the next cycle.
Every correction does the same thing: it removes the noise.
Today, much of Web3 activity is artificial: anonymous bots, Sybil scripts, empty wallets created to farm airdrops. The number of “active” users is inflated, and the metrics lose their meaning.
When the market declines, what was based purely on incentives disappears. What remains:
- real users
- concrete use cases (asset tokenization, payments, verifiable identity)
- projects capable of operating within a regulatory framework
For banks, regulators, and investors, the real question isn't “where is the price going?” but “who is actually behind the activity?”
The next cycle will be built on proof of usage and credibility, not artificial volume.
