The news was welcomed in the eastern part of the country: Copa Airlines confirmed that, starting November 16, it will add a fifth weekly flight between Panama and Barcelona, bringing its operations in Venezuela to 47 weekly flights serving Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia, Barquisimeto, Barcelona itself and, starting November 26, Porlamar. The Panamanian airline is thus consolidating its position as the international carrier with the largest presence in the country.
