Venezuela’s financial agenda is back in motion this week. According to reports, a delegation from Bank of America (BofA) is expected to arrive in the country—its third visit so far in 2026—accompanied by a group of investors in bonds issued by the Republic and Petróleos de Venezuela (Pdvsa). Meanwhile, representatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank’s arm dedicated to promoting private enterprise in emerging markets, are also expected to arrive.
