Surfer: What this crypto analysis bot does and what it DOES NOT do
$SUI After a long time developing tools to analyze markets, I ended up creating Surfer, a bot designed to watch the market 24/7 and alert me when it detects interesting conditions.
The most important thing is to understand what it does and what it doesn't do.
What it does:
• Continuously analyzes the market 24/7.
• Reads technical indicators, market structure, and context.
• Detects potential support and resistance zones.
• Analyzes liquidity, clusters, and areas where stop losses and liquidations tend to concentrate.
• Observes derivatives information like Open Interest, Funding, and market positioning.
• Incorporates external data and on-chain analysis to complement the context. The Bender/Surfer project uses layers of derivatives, heatmaps, and on-chain analysis as supporting information, always in read-only mode.
• Generates a trading plan with entry, stop loss, and targets when it finds enough confluence.
• Sends notifications to my phone through an external app.
What it DOES NOT do:
• It doesn't execute orders.
• It doesn't have access to my account.
• It doesn't move funds.
• It doesn't guarantee profits.
• It doesn't predict the future.
• It doesn't replace my judgment as a trader.
• It doesn't make decisions out of fear, euphoria, or greed.
Advantages:
• It can monitor the market even when I'm working or sleeping.
• Analyzes multiple sources of information simultaneously.
• Maintains a consistent methodology.
• Reduces the emotional component of analysis.
• Allows me to review opportunities without spending hours in front of the charts.
Something important:
If Surfer sends a notification, it doesn't mean I should jump in automatically.
The final decision is always mine.
Before opening a position, I compare the information provided by the bot with my own analysis, my risk management, and my trading plan.
Surfer was designed to help make better decisions, not to make decisions for me.
