$730M+ flowed into Bitcoin ETFs in ONE day. But here's the part I'm watching more closely.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $730.9M of net inflows on Sept. 3, the strongest daily inflow since January.
That is serious institutional demand.
But here's the mistake:
Many traders see huge ETF inflows and immediately think:
“BTC must go up.”
Not necessarily.
The better question is:
Can ETF demand absorb profit-taking and leverage-driven selling?
Because flows tell us capital is entering the investment vehicles. They don't guarantee the market will move higher every single day.
For BTC, I would track three things together:
ETF net flows
Spot volume
Open interest/funding
If ETF inflows remain strong while leverage cools, that's a much healthier signal than price going up alongside aggressive futures positioning.
Follow the capital, not the excitement.
