Bigger Picture Critics also reference a July 2025 case where India’s SEBI fined Jane Street $580M over alleged manipulation tied to Bank Nifty derivatives activity. Again — different market, different structure — but it adds fuel to the narrative. Jane Street’s Response The firm has denied all 10 AM manipulation accusations, calling them “unfounded opportunistic claims,” and says it will aggressively defend against the Terraform lawsuit.
