Metaplanet CEO: AI makes the cost of replication nearly zero, and Bitcoin’s absolute scarcity will be more valuable Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said in a post that his long-term optimism about Bitcoin is not due to price trends, but because AI is changing scarcity in the economy. As AI significantly lowers the production and replication costs of software, content, analysis, and other products, future value may flow more toward assets whose supply cannot be expanded through technology. Gerovich noted that Bitcoin’s supply cap of 21 million coins is guaranteed by network rules and will not increase due to improvements in production efficiency or intelligence. Meanwhile, as an asset that cannot be copied or diluted, and that can settle globally 24/7, Bitcoin’s scarcity attributes will stand out even more amid the backdrop of AI driving more and more goods and services toward abundance. $BTC {spot}(BTCUSDT)

Out of Reach for the Crypto World: Invested 2 Million, Earned 12.29 Billion—Return Rate as High as 6,134xOn August 19, 2026, Unitree Technology (688836) officially listed on the STAR Market, becoming A-share China’s “No. 1 listed humanoid robot stock.” It opened at 1,100 yuan per share, up 629.44% from the issue price of 150.80 yuan per share. The total market value briefly exceeded 444.9 billion yuan. In this feast of capital, the biggest individual winner was not a well-known top institution, but an angel investor named Yin Fangming—who invested 2 million yuan in 2016. Today, his paper gains have reached 12.29 billion yuan, with a staggering return multiple of 6,134 times. Time goes back to August 2016. In a run-down 50-square-meter office in the Binjiang District of Hangzhou, Wang Xingxing founded Unitree Technology. At the time, quadruped robots were still an extremely niche track in China. Boston Dynamics’ products were bulky and expensive, with commercial prospects seemingly nowhere in sight. The capital market’s enthusiasm for this sector was almost zero.

A masterstroke! After Anta’s CEO boarded a plane, he released news about going to the U.S. an hour later, relocating his entire family to AmericaXu Yang’s resignation as former CEO of Anta has sparked a lot of discussion in the industry. Why are people talking? Not because he is that famous. It’s because the way he exited was simply too unusual—almost like something out of a movie. Every step was calculated down to the last detail. August 2026. The domestic sportswear industry is in full swing, and competition in the summer market is fierce. Yet on Anta’s side, something quietly happened: a personnel reshuffle. Unlike the usual style of senior executives resigning—complete with advance announcements, formal handovers, and heartfelt goodbyes—when Xu Yang left this time, it felt like there was just one word for the whole process: steady.

After looking at the announcements from Faraday Future and AIXC, I’m really impressed by Jia Yueting’s next move—it’s indeed very smart. First, Faraday Future’s announcement says the focus will be on the robotics business, and it may even raise funds for the robotics business separately or pursue a separate listing. Then, AIXC’s announcement states it will downplay the cryptocurrency business and instead focus on developing robot leasing and related operations. The subtle point is that although Jia Yueting is the actual controller of both Faraday Future and AIXC, the businesses of the two companies are relatively independent. So if AIXC wants to develop the robotics business, it has to first buy robots from Faraday Future. That means Faraday Future sells robots to AIXC, and then AIXC leases out the robots. Not only can Faraday Future meet its sales targets, but AIXC can also complete its transformation and generate additional revenue—so you could say both companies’ businesses are fully revitalized. However, for the robotics business to secure more orders, the key is whether Jia Yueting can get the robots into the hands of ordinary consumers. It remains to be seen whether Jia Yueting can open the door to the robotics market this time. $BNB {spot}(BNBUSDT)

Listen to how the British art master Gombrich evaluates "Niulai" He said, "There is no such thing as art, only artists. What we call artists, in the past, roughly painted the shape of a bison on the cave walls with colored earth (omitted) As long as we firmly remember that the term art, when used for different periods and different places, refers to very different things, and as long as we understand in our hearts that there is fundamentally no such thing as Art with a capital A, then it is fine to call all the above work art." Seeing "Niulai," this children’s-version Van Gogh-style abstract animation, this insistence from beginning to end is what is called "the sublime" in aesthetics. In The Story of Art, Gombrich said, "If the entire creations of a nation obey one law, we call this law 'style.'" If the aesthetic concept and shaping techniques of a film both obey one law, we can also call it style. Of course, anyone is free not to like this style. Who says films must look like Avatar? The script of "Niulai" is even better than most formulaic trash films. The whole film is a huge metaphor, and everywhere there is room for multiple interpretations, especially like a metanarrative. These are things many commercial films do not have. If everyone gets a chance to look at the comments from overseas, it must be said that the internet users abroad are still quite high-level; from this cultural phenomenon they see philosophical and metaphysical thinking. $牛来 {alpha}(560xbeea1d618e533a387d941f58a7d4c9b7bd377777)

Love arrives too fast like a tornado—could Pop Mart become the Waterloo for the elderly segment’s Yongping?Although the broker has already lowered Pop Mart's performance expectations, it was still surprising to see what was reported in the interim report. In the first half of 2026, revenue was 17.173 billion yuan, up 23.8%; net profit was 5.1 billion yuan, up 9.5%. Because Q1 revenue grew by 75–80%, calculate that Q2 revenue was about 7.3 billion yuan, down 9% year over year and down 26% quarter over quarter. Profit will almost certainly decline as well... Last year, revenue grew 185% and net profit rose 309%. In just two short quarters, it turned around and started falling again—who could have predicted that? Even Wang Ning said: The pressure will be even greater in the second half; this year it is likely impossible to meet the 20% growth target.

Let me share a small experience—when it matters most, it can save your life. Whenever I see myself making consecutive profits, I secretly feel pleased, thinking I’ve finally “enlightened” myself and finally mastered a strategy for stable profitability. Remind yourself to look at the news more often—especially news about recent experts and big players losing money, cutting losses, and getting liquidated. Then ask yourself: why do those successful experts—like Zhu Yi Dan, Sha Po Lang, Wang Duan Niao, Yi Li Hua, Maji, and others who set ten big targets from the start—also end up suffering losses? Do they, after all these years, still not find a strategy for stable profitability? If they haven’t found it, did I find it first?! Am I already beyond their level? Obviously, that’s not scientific. So I haven’t really “come to enlightenment.” I’ve once again walked right up to the cliff. The most urgent thing I need to do right now is just one thing: first, save my life—meaning, first preserve my principal! $BTC #交易训练 {spot}(BTCUSDT)

Harvard and MIT Create 8.3 Billion AI People: Simulate Global Human Behavior, with 1,290 Personality Labels On August 18, according to Kuaike Technology, a team led by Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with institutions including OpenAI and Google DeepMind participating, unveiled the MatrAIx system. The system can generate 8.3 billion AI intelligent agents to simulate global human behavior, acting as proxies for every person on Earth. Because involving humans in surveys, testing, and research is not only costly and slow, but also covers an extremely limited range of user types, scientists launched the MatrAIx project: a digital human-mirroring system. Using nearly 600,000 pieces of real data and 400,000 pieces of AI-synthesized data, they generated virtual avatars for 8.3 billion people. These AI “people” have 1,290 personality labels covering age, occupation, psychology, behavior, and temperament. The researchers also built four types of interactive testing scenarios, including questionnaires, AI chat, web pages, and apps, and integrated more than 1,000 tasks spanning 25 fields such as e-commerce, finance, and medical software. These AI agents can complete questionnaires, chat with customer service, browse websites, and operate apps just like real people, with result consistency as high as 91.5%. $AI {spot}(AIUSDT)
