So apparently a group of five people (two guys, three girls) attacked a couple traveling from Oxford to London on November 4. They didn’t just steal watches and phones — they actually forced one of the victims to transfer their crypto on the spot.
They walked away with a £450,000 watch and £1.1 million worth of crypto. That’s like $1.44M. Insane.
The victims were basically dumped on a road in Oxford afterward.
Police have been rounding people up since then:
– A 21-year-old from London, arrested for robbery, kidnapping, and driving offenses
– A 37-year-old and a 23-year-old also arrested for robbery and kidnapping
– A 19-year-old from Birmingham caught with fraud-related items too
All of them are out on bail while the investigation continues.
