USDC has limitations when it comes to trading bots for example. So are we or are not allowed to use USDT?

Is USDT banned in the EU ?
As of January 2025, Binance has not banned USDT (Tether) in the European Union (EU). However, in anticipation of the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations, which came into full effect on December 30, 2024, Binance has indicated plans to adjust its stablecoin offerings to ensure compliance. MiCA imposes strict requirements on stablecoin issuers, including obtaining appropriate licensing and maintaining sufficient reserves. In September 2023, Binance's Head of Legal in France mentioned the possibility of delisting non-compliant stablecoins by June 2024 to adhere to MiCA standards.
Despite these considerations, as of now, USDT remains available for trading on Binance within the EU. The exchange has been encouraging users to transition to MiCA-compliant stablecoins, such as USDC and EURI, to align with the new regulatory environment.
It's important to note that while MiCA aims to enhance transparency and consumer protection in the crypto market, the implementation of its provisions includes transitional periods. This allows entities time to achieve compliance, and as such, immediate delistings of stablecoins like USDT have not been uniformly enforced across all platforms. Users are advised to stay informed about the regulatory status of their digital assets and consider transitioning to compliant alternatives where necessary.
For the most current information, users should refer to official communications from Binance and consult the latest updates from EU regulatory authorities.
$BTC Most currencies downhill for a significant period. Not sure why but I remain in the waiting position, things will get better eventually and even us little fish can start to make profit again.
$PEPE After almost 3 weeks of going down, PEPE has recently shown an upward trend. Whether it will last remains to be seen but I remain optimistic. Also RSI of 30% and relatively high level of trading are positive signs. 👌
$BTC Yes this sudden downfall of nearly all the crypto currencies was orchestrated by some big institutional player. They will make billions out of this but why can this even happen?
$NOT Not sure what to think, relative strength index (RSI) of about 50 suggests a positive trend and the volume is huge. It has gained for a lot of time though, will there be a drop soon?
- Buying and holding, the so called HODlers. Buy promising coins and hold them for a longer time. This strategy is actually a very good value keeper strategy since at least the established coins seem to gain value over time.
- Use the API for investing either based on algorithms related to trends or value fluctuations or perhaps even on AI. This is probably a very profitable strategy but requires knowledge and sw development skills (unless you can afford to hire a team).
- Study and investigate and follow the news about different coins, this requires time and effort for the study. May be very good and profitable approach if you have the time.
- Whales I will not mention, they have their resources and money.
- Very long time investing in coins that seem to gain profit, this requires a lot of time and patience but may end up well.
