Với chiêu trò xảo quyệt nicolas và cfan đã thao túng tâm lý người dùng bằng cách nói rằng pi là tiền tệ toàn cầu , rất nhiều người đã sập bẫy! Họ vay tiền ngân hàng đầu tư với mức giá 3$/pi . Hiện tại giá đã giảm gần 80% nếu vay 40k $ họ đang lỗ 32k$ ~ 800tr vnd
Nhiều người đã đầu tư hàng nghìn đô la để chạy node nhưng vẫn bị nicolas dùng chiêu bài làm treo kyc hoạc chặn KYC họ khiến họ thiệt hại hàng nghìn đô la.

Với chiêu trò chặn KYC hoạc cố tình làm treo KYC nicolas đã khiến cho khoảng 55/65 triệu thành viên pi network không nhận được Pi sau 6 năm. Bằng cách này nicolas có thể yên tâm bán trộm pi ra thị trường bằng các tài khoản giả mà anh ta tạo ra và thu về hàng triệu đô la mỗi ngày.
