🛰 SpaceX for the first time put a commercial satellite with a nuclear power source into orbit — the BOHR spacecraft aboard a Falcon 9.
Tritium-based technology will allow satellites to operate for years without solar panels and could pave the way for missions in the most remote and dark regions of the Solar System.
🏬 Amazon is preparing to launch its own Starlink competitor — after placing 396 satellites into orbit, the company will be able to start providing satellite internet before the end of the year.
The project has already received more than $10 billion in investment, and in the future the constellation is planned to be expanded to more than 3,200 satellites.
What is it that surprises you about our society? In Russia, there’s a fuel crisis, and oil refineries are burning all over the country.
But people are discussing the social-page chronicle instead—what’s happening with my former fiancée, Diana Shurygina, what problems and restrictions she has in the detention facility.
Is it really still so interesting to people what’s going on in someone else’s life? The news agenda about Ukraine has suddenly shifted to discussions of show-business news.
And even journalists literally write to me every day from federal outlets. They’re already preparing a program with Andrey Malakhov on Russia-1.
Your chance of getting caught by anti-spam, anti-fraud, and basically everything else with almost 100% likelihood depends on which region and operator your phone number (the one your Telegram account is registered to) belongs to. And I’ll swear on a tooth that this also applies to the number’s assets: bots, channels, and chats.
Roughly speaking, if you have an Indonesian (for example!) number on an operator that has a lot of spam bots, then (hypothetically) 10 user reports will be enough to take it down—or if it’s a number from a fragment, or Russian, say, like 965, then it will take multiple times more effort to remove it or get it banned. Of course, nobody will tell you the exact coefficients; we don’t know them either. But the dependency has been observed for a long time and is “known.”
I’m not revealing any secret to anyone. This is common knowledge among people who often deal with user complaints and have been working with the platform for a long time. So I’m really asking you: if your bots, channels, and other assets matter to you, don’t register or keep them on numbers from virtual operators, numbers from “no-name” operators’ pools from noname ISPs in Southeast Asia (like Indonesia) or Africa, or the like. The more reliable the operator and the country of origin of the number are, the harder it will be for someone to overwhelm you—if someone decides to bury your assets or slap a scam-type label on them.
After that, you might also not receive the SMS for login or even the call, in case you manage to get unbanned through support—even then. So take care of your assets and accounts, and I hope you won’t end up among those who come to me in DMs asking for help with getting unbanned.
One of the most popular Western SSL providers has added sanctions compliance to its charter. This is about Let's Encrypt.
Update. Sorry; I mixed up the providers — it’s Global Sign.
There is a risk of массовely revoking certificates for Russian websites on the night of June 12–13.
Banks/acquirers have started to stir things up; they’re asking to install clients’ certificates from the Ministry of Digital Development and to monitor what’s happening.
This is critical for those who process payments: acquirers have already sent out warnings.
Source in the market: There are a few scenarios. In the first one, the market will feel nothing—it’s simply a provider change.
In the second, a major disruption is possible at 4 a.m., lasting a few hours.
In the third, a full transition to Russian certificates may occur, and no one is ready for that.
The chances of the first two scenarios are the same; the third is unlikely.
If you're living between two countries, have already moved, or are planning to emigrate, you've probably encountered problems with your regular cards not working, and with payments for international services and subscriptions not being paid for.
There's a solution: the LiberMall Card. Top up your card with USDT or another cryptocurrency, add it to Apple Pay, and pay for purchases, apps, and services worldwide. I'll leave the link below—try it yourself and see how convenient it is.
A small addendum (let’s agree this is all just my guesses so it doesn’t look like I’m reverse-engineering something I don’t have access to).
Different Telegram operators have different “scores,” determined both by the number of spam accounts and other violations, and probably also by the cost of calls or SMS verification codes. The pool of numbers within an operator also matters.
This scoring is likely dynamic, and I’d assume the recalculation period is monthly.
If an operator drops below the trust threshold, SMS codes and calls to its numbers won’t go through, unless the number is linked to an email address or another authorization method.
So if you’re not receiving something there, you likely have a “bad” operator—high notification costs and a heavy load on the number pool due to spam and blocks.
P.S. Disclaimer: these are all my personal assumptions based on observations; I don’t have any official information about this.
Yesterday we traded really well with the guys; today, of course, we continue
The 1st day of the month — we need to start right away with quality results
A couple of thoughts I’ll add:
We’re all here for money, but over time you realize: the numbers in your account mean nothing by themselves.
Real pleasure is freedom. It’s the ability to fully control your time, say “no” to what drains your energy, and be with your loved ones without flinching at every notification.
The market and business are only tools. Don’t become slaves to what was supposed to make you free.
Earn to live, not live for the numbers on the screen.
I know some very unhappy, but very wealthy people. And I also know people with average means who are very happy.
And the difference isn’t in money, it’s in how you relate to yourself, your time, and your family.
Keep your focus on staying healthy, and don’t focus only on numbers—then they’ll start showing up in your account.
Give time for yourself and your affairs to grow; don’t set inflated expectations for anything, and then making money will be easier.
My personal experience shows that this is the best strategy.
In fact, right now you just need to press a few buttons a day to earn.
It’s not difficult. And at distance, everything will definitely work out.
Six questions that helped more than one hundred people in a difficult moment.
Maybe they will help you too.
The questions are:
1. What exactly is your problem? (The hardest part. You need to answer in a few words so that even a child understands.)
2. What positive thoughts come to mind in the context of this problem or situation?
3. What is the worst-case scenario? How likely is it (low, medium, high)?
4. What is the ideal scenario? Think it through, imagine it, and describe this scenario in specific facts that will need to happen. And in the feelings you will experience as a result.
5. List the obstacles or barriers that separate the current situation from the ideal scenario.
6. What can you personally influence so that the ideal scenario can come true? Which barriers can you personally overcome?
The answer to the 6th question is also an action plan. Amir recommends writing it down. Choose the strictest and most boring person among your close ones—someone who is guaranteed not to “make excuses” or “understand the circumstances.” Ask them to become the guardian and controller of this plan. And to knock you on the head without hesitation if you suddenly want to take shortcuts or dodge responsibility.
Relatively recently, Telegram added a feature that allows bots to interact with each other.
An interesting idea, but I haven’t yet seen a practical and effective implementation anywhere.
🐻 A good example of this is the integration of staking into a mobile neo-bank. The other implementations I’ve come across so far are only API or someone else’s SDK integrations without any know-how.
🔢 Also, some AI-based chatbots have added the ability to download content from social networks with transcription of audio or video content.
Judging by discussions on social media, many received this news more with approval than with regret. Perhaps this is a rather telling result of a long-standing policy of bans, restrictions, and pushing “correct” services.
The first comments from lawmakers have already appeared. In their view, the removal of the apps is connected to the fact that Western companies fear competition from Russian services 😁
It will be interesting to see what happens next: will Apple block access, or will it allow the launch of a full-fledged alternative app store in Russia?
I will not provide any comments on the matter regarding my former fiancée. A request to the media — do not write to me; I do not give public comments/interviews. This is a matter for the court, the investigation, and the lawyers.
As for me, as with any person who has caused no harm to the life or health of third parties, who has been convicted or is being held in custody in the pre-trial detention facility (SIZO) under non-violent charges, and without any malicious intent: I wish strength, good health, and a fair consideration of the situation.
We, together with my team, meanwhile, continue our work at my father’s charitable foundation, where we help children and widows who are left behind with children, without a breadwinner, and without a home.
