#ChristianPeev a 41-year-old #cryptocurrency mogul, was found dismembered in his Sofia apartment after plumbers were called to clear a blocked drain.
The murder is believed to have occurred between August 8 and 9.
The suspected killer, #VescoValchinov a former bartender, allegedly chopped up Christian’s body and flushed some of his body parts down the toilet.
Christian’s head and some of his bone’s couldn’t be flushed down the toilet, so Valchinov buried them instead
Valchinov had previously met Peev at a bar and even worked with him on #crypto business.
The motive is thought to be financial, possibly involving jealousy.
Another man, Konstantin Subotinov, helped Valchinov hide the body.
Valchinov was arrested after fleeing to a hotel, and the investigation continues.
