Microsoft could face a hefty fine of up to 1% of its annual revenue if it fails to respond to an EU request for information by May 27. The request, made under the EU's Digital Services Act, pertains to potential risks associated with Bing's generative AI features. LayerZero Labs has completed the self-reporting phase of its Sybil activity solution, a process designed to combat "airdrop farming." Out of over 2 million potential Sybil addresses initially identified, 803,093 were confirmed. These addresses will receive 15% of their expected token allocation, with the remaining 85% distributed among eligible users. The Sybil bounty hunting process, rewarding those who report at least 20 addresses, starts today and will run until May 31st. The final list of addresses will be shared once the bounty hunt concludes. LayerZero's ZRO was the first Hyperp to launch on the HyperLiquid perpetual futures decentralized exchange in September 2023.

Despite skepticism from the crypto community about the approval of Ether exchange-traded funds (ETF) by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), some analysts believe there could be a surprise approval. Crypto trader Matthew Hyland suggests that the expectation of denial is already factored into the market. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas gives a 35% chance of approval, while the broader crypto community estimates a 7% chance.
