RCB Twitter Account Hacked With BAYC Name

The official Twitter handle for Royal Challengers Bangalore was hacked and defaced on Saturday.
The hackers renamed the account to "Bored Ape Yacht Club" and also included a link in their Twitter bio.

The hackers started posting NFT-related tweets on the timeline, and the users quickly understood that the account was hacked. In September 2021, the official Twitter handle of RCB got hacked but they were able to recover it. However, it is to be noted that RCB has not removed the content and there is no official confirmation of this At the time of writing this report, the account has not yet been recovered.
