🚀 Bitcoin is booming in the US thanks to new spot BTC ETFs, but stablecoins are having a bit of a midlife crisis! According to Chainalysis, stablecoin transactions on US exchanges have dipped below 40% in 2024, down from 50% last year. Meanwhile, non-US platforms are partying hard with over 60% of stablecoin transactions. 🌍
Why the shift? Emerging markets are loving US dollar-backed stablecoins for their stability and low transaction costs. Regulatory uncertainty in the US isn't helping either.
