Algo que he notado es que muchos usuarios usan Binance todos los días, pero realmente no entienden bien para qué sirve cada billetera dentro de la plataforma.
Y esto puede causar mucha confusión cuando empiezas a mover tus criptomonedas.
Por eso hoy quiero explicar de forma simple la diferencia entre Spot, Funding y Futures.
1️⃣ Billetera Spot: donde haces trading normal
La Spot Wallet es la billetera más común dentro de Binance.
Aquí es donde tienes tus criptomonedas cuando quieres:
• Comprar
• Vender
• Hacer trading normal
Por ejemplo:
Si compras BTC, ETH o cualquier altcoin en el mercado, esas criptomonedas se guardan en tu billetera Spot.
Es básicamente tu cuenta de trading principal.
2️⃣ Billetera Funding: donde llegan los fondos del P2P
La Funding Wallet se usa principalmente para operaciones como:
• P2P (compra y venta entre usuarios)
• Binance Pay
• Algunas promociones o recompensas
Por ejemplo:
Cuando compras USDT en el mercado P2P, esos fondos normalmente llegan primero a tu Funding Wallet.
Luego puedes transferirlos fácilmente a tu billetera Spot para empezar a operar.
La transferencia dentro de Binance es instantánea y gratuita.
3️⃣ Billetera Futures: para trading con apalancamiento
La Futures Wallet es diferente.
Esta billetera se usa para trading de futuros, donde puedes operar con apalancamiento.
Esto significa que puedes abrir posiciones más grandes que el capital que tienes.
Por ejemplo:
• Trading en long (apostando a que el precio sube)
• Trading en short (apostando a que el precio baja)
Pero aquí también hay más riesgo.
El trading de futuros puede generar ganancias grandes, pero también pérdidas rápidas si no se maneja correctamente.
Por eso muchos principiantes primero aprenden en Spot antes de usar Futures.
⚠️ Algo importante que debes saber
Dentro de Binance puedes mover tus fondos entre billeteras en segundos.
Por ejemplo:
Funding → Spot
Spot → Futures
Futures → Spot
Todo esto se hace desde la opción Transferir, y no tiene costo.
