Didn’t get a clean enough entry on this one, closing it out and waiting for a better spot instead. No reason to force exposure while price keeps chopping around the same area.

$SOL Still sitting above the breakout pocket even after the sharp giveback, but the tape keeps turning messy near the highs.

Caught the reclaim and holding most of it for now while price keeps whipping around the same strip without really slipping away. The last drive higher stretched fast, then immediately started printing long upper tails with smaller travel after each bounce. Feels sticky up here. Buyers still showing underneath, but every push is getting checked quicker and the candles are starting to overlap into each other. If this starts living back inside the old range and rebounds lose lift almost instantly, I’m flattening into the next weak pop.

$BTC Leaning back into the base after the sweep above, but the giveback still feels sticky instead of impulsive.

Sitting in partial exposure here while price keeps getting pushed back into the same strip and still not really opening lower. The last pop left messy upper tails and the follow-through dried up almost immediately, but sellers aren’t getting clean travel either. A lot of overlap around the reclaim area now. Choppy, heavy, still holding together. If this starts accepting below the local floor and every bounce comes back weaker, I’m out fast — especially if bids stop responding after another probe lower.

One thing this market still hasn’t really tested yet is whether the uptrend can actually survive a proper long liquidation event.

Positioning is still heavily crowded on the long side right now. Roughly 564 long liquidation clusters are sitting underneath price versus only around 203 short-side clusters above.

Most of this rally has been almost too clean honestly. Small pullbacks, shallow rotations, then straight back up again. That usually works fine… until leverage gets too one-sided.

At some point the market probably needs a deeper flush just to see what’s actually supporting this move underneath. Real spot demand? Or mostly leveraged momentum chasing the breakout.

That distinction matters a lot here.

Strong trends usually absorb liquidation cascades, reclaim fast, then continue higher like nothing happened.

Weak trends start falling apart the second leverage gets cleaned out.

So while everyone is focused on whether BTC can keep pushing higher, the more important signal might actually come after the first real downside sweep. How price reacts there will probably tell us way more about the health of this trend than another impulsive green candle does.

$BTC pushed into the $82.8K area but the reaction after the local top hasn’t looked great so far.

Spot demand faded pretty aggressively, Spot CVD rolled over hard while OI kept bleeding lower in the background. CP also stayed weak, which usually isn’t what you want to see if real spot buyers are stepping in for continuation.

Feels more like momentum exhaustion than clean acceptance up here right now. Still watching whether buyers actually show up on the next pullback or if this turns into another local deviation.

Leaning into that upper strip, last push stretched then paused, small upper tails showing but no real giveback underneath. Pullbacks come shallow… barely dipping before getting nudged back up, still holding inside the band. I’m in, not chasing more here, just sitting with it. If it starts slipping out of this zone and can’t get pulled back in quickly, that’s invalid for me. I’ll cut on a fade that keeps drifting without response. For now it just sits there… pressing, but not fully opening yet.

Sitting right under that lid, candles poke up then fold back in, upper tails starting to stack while downside barely travels. Each lift feels lighter… still not giving ground though, dips get caught quick and pulled back into the band. Holding position here, not adding, just letting it breathe. If this starts accepting below the base with no snap back, I’m out. Immediate exit on a clean slip that doesn’t get reclaimed. Still pressing, but… not quite expanding.

$ETH Keeps tapping the same lid, can’t stretch through, edges getting messy.

Sits right under the cap, every push up gets clipped and folded back, upper tails stacking while bodies drift lower into the middle. The last few lifts look tired, quick spikes then no continuation, just churn and overlap building in place. I’m in, not pressing, letting it breathe while it wrestles here. If it starts living above that lid and stops slipping back inside, I’m gone. Instant exit if a push holds and the next candles don’t give it back. Still hovering… not clean.

Keeps poking the ceiling then slipping back under it, wicks stacking up top while bodies sit lower… not much travel after each push. The last few attempts feel thinner, like effort shows but doesn’t carry, overlap building right under the cap. Holding short here, not heavy, just letting it sit while it churns. If it starts holding above the lid and stops getting pushed back in, I’m out. Immediate cut if a push finally sticks and doesn’t fade on the next candles. Still stuck here… not resolving.

$ETH just hasn’t shown up this rally. Not really.

You keep seeing the same behavior over and over — pushes up, stalls around that ~$2,420 area, then fades. Meanwhile the channel high is sitting higher… around $2,520… and we’re just not getting there. Not even close. Always a bit short. That’s not random.

Compare that to BTC already tagging the top of its range. Big difference.

And then you look at ETH/BTC… it’s sitting on support right now. Kinda hanging there. If that level gives way, and Bitcoin keeps pushing? Yeah… ETH probably moves, but not the way people want. It lags. Hard.

That’s usually how this plays out.

Unless ETH can actually break $2,420 clean and stay above it — not just wick, not just fake it for a few hours — but hold… then the read is pretty simple:

Weak stays weak.

Not worth fighting that. I’m out, locking profits.

Could be early, sure. But I’d rather walk away paid than sit there hoping it turns.
