Boosting DAO Governance: LiFi’s Multi-Bridge Aggregator 💡
#LiFi has introduced a new multi-message aggregator to bolster #DAO governance. This solution, outlined in an August 17 statement by LiFi research lead Arjun Chand, aims to prevent governance attacks stemming from cross-chain bridges.
Addressing security concerns raised on #Uniswap forums earlier in the year, the aggregator ensures confirmation from multiple bridges for votes, reducing reliance on a single bridge for governance messages. Protocols can flexibly demand confirmation from varying bridge numbers.
Despite similar initiatives like Gnosis’ “Hashi,” LiFi’s approach stands out due to its comprehensive strategy. Although un-audited, LiFi plans to subject the aggregator to testing and auditing in the near future.
