Japan’s FSA just published the minutes from its first On-Chain Finance Forum for the AI Era.

Chaired by Finance Minister Katayama, the Sept 30 meeting (with Digital Agency, MOF, BOJ, and bankers) signals real movement:

- MOF launching a study group on tokenized government bonds
- Digital Agency exploring stablecoins/tokenized deposits for targeted public subsidies (e.g. childcare, food)
- BOJ advancing DLT sandbox for on-chain settlement with central bank accounts
- Asia Day 2027 planned

Interim roadmap expected early 2027. Japan is quietly building 24/7 on-chain rails for the AI era.
