✈️ On mobile: You are redirected to the Crypto.com app to approve the payment, and then sent back to Emirates for confirmation and your ticket.
✈️ On desktop: It is a simple QR code scan that you approve using the Crypto.com app.

Technically, you are not buying tickets "in crypto."
