Polygon PoS actualiza Bor y Heimdall: qué deben revisar los nodos
Hecho confirmado: Polygon Labs anunció el 5 de noviembre de 2026 Bor v2.11.0 para Polygon PoS y Amoy. Es la compilación pública de v2.11.0-priv e incluye la hardfork Uburu y correcciones de seguridad y estabilidad. Uburu se activó en Amoy en el bloque 51.978.200 del 4 de noviembre y en mainnet en el 96.787.900 del 5 de noviembre.
Los operadores que seguían en Bor v2.10.3 o anterior dejaron de seguir la cadena al llegar a esos bloques y deben actualizarse. Pasar de la compilación privada a la pública no cambia el consenso: mismo código y mismos bloques de fork, sin cambio de génesis, migración de base de datos ni resincronización. Bor añade controles para transacciones condicionales en el txpool, desactivados por defecto, y mejoras de consenso, sincronización y RPC.
Heimdall v0.13.2, publicado el 3 de noviembre, activó la hardfork Karwar en mainnet en el bloque 57.006.000. Incluye límites al tamaño de extensiones de voto, firmas canónicas para checkpoints y una mejora del estado RPC. También elimina una espera innecesaria durante el bloqueo de consenso. Es una actualización binaria: no exige cambios de configuración, migración de estado ni resincronización.

70.5M $POL stolen in the Polymarket and Binance hacks could be pulled back with a hard fork.
What happened:
• A proposal posted Nov 4 would zero the balances of 5 frozen attacker wallets (23.86M POL from Polymarket, 46.63M from Binance) and credit verified recovery wallets
• Total POL supply stays the same. Block producers already blocked the wallets, but a block list can't return the funds
• It's only a proposal: needs governance approval, Amoy testnet testing and a client update. No activation date yet
