Solana slips into discount as 870 million in leverage gets flushed Solana gave back most of its weekly gains inside four hours. $SOL sits near 89.71, down 6.7%, and the flush was market wide: BTC lost 5.85%, ETH 7.45%, and over 870 million in leveraged positions were liquidated across crypto. Moves that uniform leave the same signature on every chart. Two Solana items landed alongside the selloff. Solana Labs' Leap shipped a mobile app for trading tokenized stocks and crypto. Co-founder Toly called memecoins and jpegs "digital slop, same as a loot box in an iOS game," a headwind for the retail cohort that has been SOL's loudest bid. The chart: the 1h read is bearish. Smart money distributed from the 103.9 highs and walked price below both EMAs in stepped markdowns, the latest break of structure coming out of the 96.8 lower high. Price sits deep in discount near the window low. The broken 93 to 95 range holds the offers overhead, with the last up candle before the drop drawn as an order block from 95.3 to 96.5 and the EMA50 at 92.67. Sell-side liquidity rests under the wick low at 88.24. Base case: a weak bounce into 91.0 to 92.7 meets supply, then rotates down to sweep that pool. A failure at that retest has a specific look on the chart. Price pushes into 91.0 to 92.7, prints a rejection wick and rolls over, leaving a lower high under the EMA50 with no higher low behind it. Acceptance below 89.0 turns 88.24 into one clean wick, and the bounce that follows stalls on the 89 handle. The read only breaks on a reclaim of 96.6. What to watch: whether the bounce stalls inside 91.0 to 92.7, how fast the 88.24 pool gets taken and whether it is reclaimed, and whether funding resets enough after the cascade to clear the crowded long base. Where do you see the 88.24 sweep ending, a wick and reversal or something deeper? Reads like this one go to the group every day, and my bio points the way. #Altcoin Season# #Macro Insights#
