$BTC Recovers Strongly — But Was It Another Bull Trap Before the Weekend? Bitcoin made a strong recovery over the past 24 hours as lower oil prices and stronger U.S. equities improved risk sentiment after the midterm elections. But for me, the important part is what happened next. BTC failed to break the Resistance Zone($79,150-$80,400), while the S&P 500 has already started pulling back again. Now Bitcoin is testing a major support cluster around the 100_SMA(Daily), 50_SMA(Weekly), Support Lines, and the Support Zone($73,720-$76,260). This area has already been tested several times, so the next reaction matters even more. From an Elliott Wave perspective, Bitcoin appears to be completing a Triple Three Correction(W-X-Y-X-Z). My main scenario is still bearish over the next 24 hours. If sellers break this support cluster, Wave Z could extend lower and push Bitcoin below $74,000. With the weekend approaching, I’m also watching oil, the S&P 500, the U.S. Dollar, and any new Middle East headlines.
