Market creation is the real L1 race 🧠
Across L1s such as $AVAX and $SUI competition often comes back to speed, throughput, and costs, but I think the harder question is what useful markets each network can actually create.
Fast execution matters, although its value ultimately depends on the financial products and activity built on top of it.
The stronger signal for me is how quickly a network can take a new source of data and turn it into a market that users can access.
Injective gave a good example of that this week.
It first launched SICI, turning GPU rental prices into an onchain benchmark with a mainnet perpetual market.
One day later, it introduced testnet options infrastructure covering AI compute, equity indexes, and commodities.
Those launches are more important together because one creates an entirely new underlying market while the other expands how markets can be packaged and traded.
This is why I’m bullish on Injective’s finance-native direction 🔥
