Binance is dropping another $ICP trading pair.
On October 30, Binance will stop trading the ICP/BTC pair following a liquidity review.
Does this mean Internet Computer is dead?
$ICP is down roughly 23% over the past month and more than 99% from its 2021 peak.
The important distinction is that Binance is removing a trading pair, not the token itself.
ICP will remain available on Binance through other markets, with the USDT pair accounting for most of its trading activity.
This isn't the first time, either. In February 2026, Binance also removed the ICP/ETH pair following a similar review over low trading volume and weak liquidity.
When a trading pair attracts little activity, exchanges often remove it. That reflects demand for a specific market, not necessarily a verdict on the entire project.
But ICP's price history raises a bigger concern.
The token peaked near $700 in May 2021. Since then, it has lost more than 99% of its value despite multiple market cycles.
But calling Internet Computer dead would be premature.
The token is still listed, markets remain open, and the network continues to exist beyond this Binance decision.
However, staying listed is not the same as regaining traction.
Repeated trading-pair removals and years of price weakness highlight the challenge ICP faces: rebuilding sustained demand and proving that its technology can attract meaningful usage.
For community, the question isn't whether one more trading pair disappears.
It's whether Internet Computer can generate enough adoption and economic activity to change its long-term trajectory.
Do you still see a path for $ICP to recover, or has its multi-year underperformance already changed your view of the project?
