Journalists James O'Keefe and Cam Higby face two felony charges in Minneapolis after filming an undercover investigation into Minnesota election security. Higby entered a polling location wearing a burqa and was allowed to check in using a woman's name without verification. He then attempted to vouch for another individual (O'Keefe in costume) who was unregistered. Neither journalist cast a ballot. Prosecutors charged them with felony unlawful voting and identity theft. O'Keefe's supporters claim the charges are politically motivated intimidation targeting conservative media.
