1,001 Bitcoin Away From Second Place — Strive Just Spent $511 Million

Strive just made the biggest Bitcoin purchase in its history, buying 6,182 BTC for about $511 million between October 17 and 23, according to its October 26 SEC filing.
The average price was around $82,732, and its total stack now stands at 43,000 BTC. That leaves Strive just 514 BTC behind Twenty One Capital and only 1,001 BTC behind Metaplanet for second place among public companies, behind Strategy's 848,517 BTC.
Strive held only about 7,500 BTC at the end of 2025 and has added 15,538 BTC in less than a month. The spree has been funded through perpetual preferred stock and warrant exercises, plus a programme to sell up to $1 billion of SATS preferred shares.
Why it matters: while Strategy paused buying last week, Strive is sprinting for second place. But treasury buying is not a price guarantee — Bitcoin slipped under $80,000 today. Not financial advice, do your own research. Will Strive take second place before 2027?
