Sons of the Forest is now officially available to play on Flux Games. Your ongoing island narrative featuring cliffside bases, clever traps, and those still unexplored caves can easily be hosted on independent nodes spanning 50+ countries.
Through the use of a reliable dedicated server, the game world remains continuously active. This guarantees that any member of your group can jump in to play at their convenience, regardless of who is currently online. Accommodating up to 8 players, each hosting package provides a baseline of 9 GB, which is a memory capacity carefully chosen to keep the entire island seamlessly loaded at all times.
The setup process eliminates the typical hassles of port forwarding and completely bypasses the need for SteamCMD. Instead, users can manage every custom game rule and server configuration through one simple form. This centralized interface allows for the easy handling of automatic updates, system backups, save slots, uploaded co-op saves, and administrative owner designations via SteamID.
Subscriptions for these hosting plans begin at just $8.49 per month. As an added benefit, new users are eligible to experience their first week completely free of charge.
