CoinDCX denied that active wallets were compromised after blockchain investigators flagged suspicious transfers totaling about $16 million from addresses linked to the exchange. CoinDCX acknowledged that a temporary failure to move deposits from retired addresses caused operational losses, which the exchange absorbed after crediting every affected user. CoinDCX said the transfers involved addresses compromised in July 2025 and abandoned since then. However, on-chain investigator ZachXBT said at least one address continued forwarding customer deposits to CoinDCX's current wallet this spring. Trading continues normally.
