#EarningSeason is here and all eyes are on Tesla. As of today, October 21st 2026, Tesla will report its Q3 2026 financial results after the US market closes, with the webcast at 5:30 PM ET. This is not just another earnings call, this is the report that can decide the next move for Nasdaq, S&P 500 and ultimately for Bitcoin.

*What We Already Know About Tesla?*

Tesla already reported its operational numbers on Oct 2nd and they surprised everyone. The company delivered 486,532 vehicles in Q3, beating analyst consensus of 461,974 by over 24,000 units. It produced 464,391 vehicles, meaning it sold 22,141 more cars than it made, clearing inventory. Model 3 and Model Y still dominate with 478,237 deliveries, while other models like Cybertruck fell 48% YoY to just 8,295.

Energy business deployed 13.7 GWh, up 9.6% year over year, though below the 15.9 GWh expectation.

So delivery beat is confirmed, but profit is still a question.

*What Wall Street Expects Tonight?*

Consensus for revenue is around $27.8 Billion to $28.34 Billion, almost flat vs last year. Adjusted EPS is expected at $0.43 to $0.45, down 10% to 12% YoY. In Q2, Tesla missed badly with $0.33 vs $0.44 expected.

The real focus will not be revenue. Analysts will watch 3 things:

1. *Automotive Gross Margin:* Can Tesla stop margin compression after continuous price cuts? Consensus expects 17.7%.

2. *Free Cash Flow and Capex:* Tesla is spending over $25 Billion this year on AI, Robotaxi and Optimus. How will they fund it?

3. *Future Vision:* Elon Musk's comments on FSD, Robotaxi commercialization, Optimus robot, and most importantly the rumored SpaceX and Tesla merger that would combine over 30,000 BTC worth $2.5 Billion on their balance sheets.

*Why is Tesla Earning So Important For Crypto?*

You may ask, Tesla is a car company, what does it have to do with crypto? Everything.

Tesla is the ultimate risk appetite indicator. When Tesla and Meta (also reporting today) beat, tech sentiment recovers, Nasdaq futures pump, and risk-on money flows into Bitcoin. Yesterday Asian tech led by SpaceX earnings already pushed BTC from $81,103 low to $83,580 high, its highest level in a week. BTC closed at $83,094 with $526.6 Million in ETF inflows, the biggest inflow since September 22nd, with BlackRock buying $665 Million alone.

If Tesla beats on margin and gives strong AI/Robotaxi guidance, we can see Nasdaq pump, BTC break $84K and then target $86K-$90K. If Tesla misses or warns about cash burn, we could see another liquidation cascade like yesterday that flushed both longs and shorts.

Tesla itself holds Bitcoin. Any comment about its BTC holdings or a potential SpaceX merger involving BTC will directly impact crypto sentiment.

*What Should We Do in Crypto World During #EarningSeason?*

This is not the time to be 100% leveraged. This is the time to be smart.

1. Don't overtrade before the result. Volatility will be insane after 5:30 PM ET. Keep spot and low leverage.

2. Watch BTC dominance. If Tesla beats, altcoins like ETH, SOL, BNB will follow Bitcoin's pump.

3. Keep USDT ready for dips. Earning season always gives opportunities.

4. For holders, this is noise. The digital world is improving and gaining attraction. Institutional adoption via ETFs is real.

Earning season shows us whether the real economy supports the hype. For us crypto people, Tesla's success is our success because it proves innovation and risk taking still pays.

I am bullish but cautious. Are you holding through Tesla earnings or waiting on the sidelines?
