$AERO trades at 0.7825 after a 2.2 percent day, and the distance between what the token is doing and what the protocol under it is doing has rarely been this wide.

Start with the protocol. It routed 407.86 million dollars of swaps over the last 24 hours, up 14.4 percent on the day. Fees came to 256,493 dollars, up 22.9 percent, and 181,551 of that was passed on as revenue, up 23.7 percent. Across 30 days the protocol has collected 11.72 million in fees, a pace that annualises to 142.6 million against a market cap of 782.21 million.

Now the token. It sits 21.2 percent under the 0.9934 it printed on 11 October. Spot turnover was 4.33 million against a 30 day average of 6.54 million, so 0.66 times a normal session across 44,732 trades.

Derivatives split the same way. Open interest rose in eight consecutive hourly prints between 08:00 and 15:00 UTC, from 49.16 million tokens to 50.27 million, the highest of the day, while the dollar value of those positions barely moved from 38.9 million. The long short account ratio fell in nine straight readings, 0.7640 at 08:00 down to 0.5997 at 17:00, which puts 37 accounts in 100 on the long side. Funding never agreed: six of the last eight settlements were positive, the latest at 0.0038 percent.

Liquidity held through all of it, 355.4 million across both versions, 5.8 percent of everything locked on Base.
