Metaplanet is expanding its Bitcoin treasury strategy into the U.S. after Super League shareholders approved the proposed investment.
At closing, Metaplanet plans to contribute 2,100 $BTC plus $2.5 million in cash, with the Bitcoin valued at about $170 million as of October 16.
Super League is expected to become Superplanet, Inc. and trade on Nasdaq under SUPA, giving Metaplanet a dedicated U.S. Bitcoin treasury platform.
Metaplanet also gets access to additional U.S. capital through warrants and a potential $210 million preferred-stock investment, creating a framework for future Bitcoin accumulation through both Japanese and U.S. capital markets.
