@Zebec_HQ is adding the enterprise version of @C8Wallet, built by @cantor8, to its product line. The wallet is designed for institutions that want to manage several assets and move funds while keeping control of their private keys.

Paired with Zebec's payroll and payment tools, the integration is meant to let firms of any size send money on @CantonNetwork. Zebec has not announced a launch date.

What the C8 Enterprise Wallet does

Cantor8 describes the C8 Enterprise Wallet as a self-custody wallet designed for institutional operations, with multi-asset management, high-throughput transfers and configurable workflows. Its consumer-facing counterpart, the C8 Wallet, is a non-custodial product: its app listing says the wallet never holds users' keys or funds.

The wallet has already been used in a payroll setting on Canton. In February 2026, Toku and Cantor8 carried out what the Canton Network described as a real-world stablecoin payroll run for a multinational company. In that case, Cantor8's wallet gave employees a place to receive funds, with private keys stored on their own devices.

Why Canton matters for payroll

Canton is a blockchain built for regulated finance. According to Digital Asset, which initially developed it, the network is a privacy-enabled, interoperable network designed for institutional assets. Firms including BNP Paribas, Deutsche Boerse Group and Goldman Sachs were named as users at its 2023 announcement.

Privacy is central to the pitch. In March 2026, Visa said it would join as a Super Validator and noted that the transparency that makes blockchains attractive can clash with the privacy expectations of financial institutions. Payroll data is a clear example, since firms generally do not want salary flows visible to outsiders.

Zebec has also been preparing its own Canton payroll product. A proposal to the Canton Foundation's development fund describes a streaming payroll and token vesting app on Canton, citing Zebec's existing payroll volume of more than $500 million a year and over 280 enterprise clients. These figures come from Zebec's own proposal and have not been independently verified.

Adding an institutional-grade wallet would give Zebec's business customers a way to hold and send assets on Canton without handing custody to a third party. Until Zebec sets a launch date, the timeline and the exact features available to clients remain unclear.
