Crypto hardware wallet maker Trezor is reducing the number of shops authorized to sell Trezor devices after a supply-chain attack on another wallet brand. Trezor Chief Commercial Officer Danny Sanders wrote that affected resellers lose authorization on January 1, 2027. Trezor has stopped shipping new stock to affected resellers, but those resellers can sell existing stock through Black Friday and the holidays. Rival Ledger confirmed that a device sold through Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis carried a hidden implant. Trezor said there is no evidence that Trezor devices have been compromised.
