NEAR Protocol (NEAR) — Sunday and Early-Week Trading Outlook | October 11–13, 2026

Chart observations reviewed at approximately 22:15 UTC on October 11. Levels refer to the MEXC NEARUSDT perpetual contract.

MARKET OUTLOOK: BULLISH RECOVERY WITH THE WEEKEND OBJECTIVES COMPLETED

NEAR has advanced through the earlier 5.39, 5.49 and 5.60 checkpoints, reached approximately 5.91, and rebounded after a pullback toward 5.56. The earlier recovery stages have therefore been completed. Whether a particular trade was confirmed, entered and filled remains a separate question.

At time of writing, price was approximately 5.73, within the 5.66–5.78 decision area. The larger trend remains constructive, but fresh entries require new structure.

The preferred opportunity is a new defended pullback into 5.60–5.66. A separately confirmed breakout above 5.91 offers a later alternative. Chasing between demand and nearby resistance leaves less attractive positioning.

ACROSS THE TIMEFRAMES

Weekly: The developing week has recovered from 4.30 toward its 5.907 high, with price above rising fast and slow KAMAs. The weekly close remains unfinished.

Daily: Sunday's advance has moved above the recent highs around 5.60, extending the recovery from the October 8 washout. The daily close still needs to confirm that improvement.

4H: The advance cleared the former 5.49–5.60 supply area. The developing pullback tested approximately 5.562 while remaining above the larger trend averages.

48m: Price is recovering from the pullback toward 5.56, with the fast KAMA above the slow (a bullish alignment). The rebound remained below the rising pitchfork median at the review.

24m: The trend averages remain constructively aligned, but the rebound had not established the required acceptance above 5.78.

6m and Below: Look for a new defended higher low after the larger confirmation sequence. The earlier rebound already reached 5.74 and cannot be reused as a fresh entry toward that objective.

The current 4H, daily and weekly candles remain unfinished until 00:00 UTC Monday. Fresh order-flow, open-interest, funding and seasonal-volume readings were unavailable for this update; participation should be checked at the next retest.

PRINCIPAL DECISION LEVELS

6.00: Extension objective after a confirmed breakout and defense of 5.91.
5.91: Prior spike high and separate higher breakout threshold.
5.84: Upper swing resistance and the next continuation objective.
5.78: Immediate reclaim and continuation threshold.
5.74: First supply and initial objective for a fresh pullback long.
5.66–5.78: No-chase middle.
5.60–5.66: Fresh pullback demand.
5.56: Failure threshold beneath the recent pullback.
5.49: First downside objective if 5.56 fails.
5.35–5.39: Deeper prior breakout support, conditional on further weakness through 5.49.

For the scenarios below, by CONFIRMATION, we mean: Two consecutive completed 24-minute closes beyond the relevant threshold, followed by a separate completed 6-minute retest. Longs require a defended higher low; shorts require a failed retest and lower high. The 6-minute retest must follow the second qualifying 24-minute close.

1. Buy a fresh defense of 5.60–5.66.

This requires a new return to demand, acceptance above 5.60 and a subsequent defended retest.

Illustrative parameters: entry 5.60, stop 5.55, initial target 5.74 — approximately 2.80R before costs and 2.49R under the cost assumption below.

The entry must remain available after confirmation. The stop must clear the actual new retest low with room for ordinary price noise. If confirmation leaves an entry near 5.66 with the same stop, reward to 5.74 falls to approximately 0.73R before costs. Pass if the remaining room is inadequate.

At 5.74, take profits or protect the position and reassess. Further objectives at 5.78, 5.84 and 5.91 require renewed acceptance through intervening resistance.

2. Secondary continuation above 5.78.

Acceptance above 5.78 followed by a defended retest would improve the rebound's structure. The first objective is 5.84.

Illustrative parameters: entry 5.78, stop 5.75, initial target 5.84 — approximately 2.00R before costs, falling to 1.60R under the cost assumption below.

The narrow distance to resistance makes this primarily a structure checkpoint. A new trade requires better positioning or an actual structural stop that permits sufficient reward.

3. Buy a separately confirmed breakout above 5.91.

Fresh acceptance above the spike high, followed by a new defended retest, would open an attempt at 6.00.

Illustrative parameters: entry 5.91, stop 5.88, initial target 6.00 — approximately 3.00R before costs and 2.46R under the stated cost assumption.

The 5.88 stop is valid only if it clears the actual new retest low. If structure instead requires a stop near 5.84, gross reward falls to approximately 1.29R. Recalculate from the real structure before entering.

4. Sell a confirmed failure below 5.56.

Acceptance below 5.56 followed by a failed retest would weaken the local bullish structure and reopen 5.49.

Illustrative parameters: entry 5.55, stop 5.59, initial target 5.49 — approximately 1.50R before costs and 1.25R under the stated cost assumption.

This is the weaker trade example. The stop must clear the actual retest high. Further downside toward 5.35–5.39 requires renewed acceptance below 5.49.

The net reward figures use an illustrative total round-trip fee and slippage allowance of 0.08% of entry price. Actual costs and structural stop placement govern the result. The fresh pullback and higher breakout examples exceed 2R after that allowance; their entries and stops remain conditional.

MACRO CONTEXT

Friday's Treasury 10-year constant-maturity yield was 5.24%, down from 5.31% Monday but above Thursday's 5.22%. Cash DXY closed Friday at 102.21. These are Friday references, not live Sunday readings.

Renewed dollar strength, rising yields or a BTC breakdown could undermine NEAR's advance. Monday's U.S. fixed-income holiday may reduce liquidity and cash-yield confirmation, even though U.S. equities follow their regular trading calendar.

September CPI is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, at 12:30 UTC, with PPI Thursday at the same time. Both fall just beyond this outlook's horizon.

NOTATE BENE

MA's

Purple and pink are, respectively, the Fast (10,2,30) and Slow (10,5,3) Kaufman Adaptive Moving Averages.

PITCHFORK CHANNEL:

The white median line and parallel channel boundaries describe the fitted trend path. They provide moving references for support, resistance and the market's ability to remain within said path.

The red sloping outer lines are pitchfork 'warning lines'. Price approaching or entering those areas is verging outside the trend described by the pitchfork. Sustained departure followed by a failed reclaim weakens the channel's fit. A wick through a warning line does not establish a reversal; an upper overshoot can reflect mere acceleration.

Read the sloping lines at the candle being assessed: their price changes with time. The fixed 5.84 marker remains a price objective, while the pitchfork median continues to rise.

DRAWINGS:

Cyan marks the 5.78 and 5.91 continuation thresholds.
Yellow marks objectives and supply references.
Green identifies 5.60–5.66 pullback demand.
The red horizontal line at 5.56 marks the separate failure threshold; it is distinct from the sloping pitchfork warning lines.
The gray horizontal 5.66–5.78 area marks the no-chase middle. The fork's interior shading illustrates the broader channel.

A pending setup expires if its first target trades before entry confirmation, its threshold or retest fails, six completed 24-minute bars pass from the first qualifying close, or the next 00:00 UTC reset arrives, whichever happens first. Open trades remain governed by their protective stop and management plan.

The outlook runs through Tuesday, October 13. Refresh the triggers after each daily reset and whenever new structure changes the decision map.
