Elon Musk said the Terrafab factory will reshape chip manufacturing, even though he currently does not know how to make microchips. According to ChainCatcher, Musk said his company may still find a better manufacturing method because it has extensive experience building custom equipment and could improve the production process after seeing relatively little specialized machinery at rival facilities.
