Locked tokens don't stay locked — now a London court will decide what that's worth.

DWF Labs affiliates DWF Maas and Falcon Digital have sued crypto custodian BitGo in the London High Court, seeking $141 million in damages. They allege BitGo received Falcon Finance (FF) and ESPORTS tokens at a discount in exchange for a three-month lock-up, then moved them onto exchanges roughly two months before the first unlock — flooding illiquid markets and driving prices down. DWF says it raised the issue with BitGo in April and May; BitGo declined to comment.

The takeaway: in private OTC token deals, the discount is priced on trust in the lock-up. When a custodian becomes the seller, contracts get stress-tested in court.

Not financial advice.
